The grinder was already on its finest setting, so I was tempted open it up and see what adjustments I can make.
Luckily, it is a very simple device. It is easy to see the limiter screw in the shot below, and it is just as easy to move it one hole further.
Only after making the adjustment and praying for success – and it really did do the trick – I thought to google this adjustment and found the tutorial below:

In dit blog probeer ik een aantal lessen te trekken voor security managers, maar op een leesbare manier.
“Niemand geeft om de feiten”
Wie na het lezen nog nieuwsgierig is naar meer technische achtergrond kan bijvoorbeeld terecht bij deze researcher of bij de bron van de iBrute exploit
Wie zich zorgen maakt over de eigen accounts:
- Zet 2-factor authenticatie aan waar het kan (o.a. Gmail, Apple ID, Twitter, Dropbox en Facebook)
- Gebruik 1Password of LastPass om complexe passwords te onthouden voor andere sites
- Sommige dingen bewaar je misschien het best niet online, of alleen met een extra laag encryptie. Bijvoorbeeld in een zip file met password.
- Gebruikt een plugin als https-everywhere om zo veel mogelijk HTTPS (veilige verbindingen) te gebruiken op het web

Experts ‘kraken’ Google Glass – NOS Nieuws. Toch leuk, zo wat media aandacht voor ons werk. Op basis van een artikel gisteren online bij de Volkskrant is er nu flink aandacht voor de mobile security testing activiteiten.
Dit bericht is inmiddels ook opgepikt door andere media zoals Nu.nl, Telegraaf, BNR, HP/de Tijd, Computable en Security.nl.

Very thought provoking blog on why so many markets are dominated by mediocrity. Especially interesting since it comes from an unexpected source, a Saxophone repair service professional.
I think this could pretty much be transcribed to apply to security in software development too – so much software is insecure because by definition, building software securely is more difficult and/or time consuming, requiring significant developer commitment without much return (since most clients are not equipped to recognize the difference).
